Asukayama Park is known as one of the great spot to watch Hanami. There is no Sakura in this post but you will be able to see how it looks like in Autumn.

During the previous Momiji hunting, Aoyama Itchome was just one of the Momiji hunting spots that I wanted to go. After spending some quality time in Aoyama Itchome, Asukayama Park was my next destination.

Asukayama Park is a nice place to stroll down while enjoying nature.

Lots of open spaces. There was Paper Museum nearby but I decided not to go inside. The entrance for the museum was 300 yen.

There was a large playground located inside the park where you could see children screaming playing happily.

Many moons ago Shogun Yoshimune built this park for the purpose of Hanami. During the Edo period, there were not many places to see Hanami. He built this park for people to enjoy Hanami.

Asukayama Park is located in Kita Ward. It is 5 minutes walk from Ouji Station. Asukayama Park is also known as Ouji Park.

Nice park overall. After hearing lots of great hanami reviews, I will try to visit Asukayama Park during Hanami next year.
