Sanrio Puroland

Last Saturday I set off to the land of cuteness, Sanrio Puroland. I know some people who try to avoid this kind of a place, but I just know I should visit it at least once. :)



Sanrio Puroland is an indoor theme park based on Sanrio's popular characters such as Hello Kitty, Keroppi, and many others. It is located five minutes walk from Keio Tama Center station.


Once you arrived here, you'll notice the cuteness of Tama New City. Hello Kitty is everywhere in the city.

Sanrio Puroland was opened on December 7, 1990. It is quite famous worldwide due to its characters. Every year it attracts over 1.5 million visitors.


Cuteness is the theme of this park. Colorful wall murals are everywhere. If you are allergic to cuteness, you better stay away from this place. :D




Even the toilet looks cute.




The rides and performances are held in the basement. It is a bit dark inside.








They have shows every few hours in the middle of the main hall.




Most of the shows are targeted for kids so you might not be able to enjoy it.

If you like cute things then you should definitely go to this place. As for me, once is more than enough. :)
