iPhone 4S

iPhone 4S
I finally upgraded my iPhone from 3GS to 4S a few weeks ago. I've been trying my hard to resist the temptation to upgrade my iPhone when iPhone 4 came out last year. I couldn't get it because I was stuck with my 2 years contract at that time. When iPhone 4S came out, I still had a couple of months left in my contract. Luckily, Softbank had a free upgrade plan from 3GS to 4S. And that's how I got my iPhone 4S.

I always wanted a pocket camera that I could bring with me everywhere I go. I don't want to bring my DSLR with me because it's heavy and I definitely couldn't bring it to my work. I could get a pocket camera, but a camera with a good quality, reasonable price, and light weight is pretty hard to find. The iPhone is the answer to that. I love the idea of using your phone as a camera which means I could bring it with me everywhere I go.

What about the quality ? So far, I've been really impressed by the camera. With the help of apps, you can take photos and retouch them almost instantly. The DSLR is definitely better and I have more control with it. However, the iPhone 4S camera is already good enough. Sometimes it made me feel like I don't want to take out my Canon 40D.

Let me show you some of the photos that I took with my iPhone.

Good bye, 3GS. Sorry, but you're not going to be missed. :)

Me and my co-worker were just talking about the same thing (re: SLRs and the convenience of the upgraded iPhone4S camera).

Those three months I had to wait for the 4S to come out were the worst, as I was virtually sans keitai the entire time.

BTW, great shots.

so nice these photos! I'm kinda clumzy I'm very scared to drop and destroy my phone so am resisting the temptation (also $ wise not good at the moment LOL)

Are Android phones popular in Japan? iPhone is not bad, but the tiny screen is inconvenient compared to the really nice, big screens of Android phones. Camera

@Kevin: Thanks. I was actually waiting for 5, but 4S is enough for now.

@chun: follow your heart and get one. XD

@Teresa: Android phones are quite popular. I could see lots of them in the street.

Congrates! A new Apple gadget always make me happy especially the iPhone. I have been using the iPhone 4 for a year now and still liking it, though I have to say the dual core in the 4S would be a nice speed-bump! Great photos BTW :)
