Fuji Shibazakura

I first set my eyes on Fuji Shibazakura Matsuri two years ago, right after I went to Hitsujiyama Park Shibazakura. The harmony between mount Fuji and Shibazakura are so mesmerizing that I promised myself that I will definitely go to this place. Last month, I finally able to visit this place. Unfortunately, the weather was not perfect. No blue sky and a bit cloudy. A shame, but nevertheless it's still a gorgeous place.

Higashi Murayama

Flowers are part of the Japanese culture. Apart from Sakura, Japan has many flowers to enjoy throughout the seasons, such as Ajisai, Kouyou, Rengeshouma, Ume, Yuri, etc. Higashi Murayama is a pretty good place to hunt flowers.

花は日本の文化の一部です。桜を始め、紫陽花、紅葉、蓮華升麻、梅、ゆりなど、色々な花を楽しむことができる。東村山は花狩り所としていい場所だと思う。

Chiba Floral Museum

Chiba City is also known as the City of Flowers. The city holds flowers festival and gardening contest every year. There are lots of flower related places around Chiba, one of them is the Chiba Floral Museum ( 花の美術館 ). I visited the museum just before I moved to Tokyo from Chiba.

Spring 2010

There is always something really nice about spring. After having a cold winter for a few months, the warm feeling of spring has been a pleasant one. Not to mention the weather on weekends were perfect. Have a look at my flower hunting's photos during the last few weeks.
